I usually do not write diaries that merely link to articles written by other people in the media (well, I usually do not write diaries ever).

But how perfect is this article?

In the NY Times on Sunday is an article in the business section about how boards of directors of large multinational corporations commit to increasing board diversity by including females and minorities, but then do no carry through, remaining "male, pale, and stale"

In the mainstream media everywhere is news of climate change, from the flooding in Norwalk Virginia to President Obama's new proposal vis a vis power plant emissions.

And of course hanging over ever story, informing the conversations online and at home, is the pall of the shooting at UCSB, mental illness, guns, and misogyny.

And here is a story, which sounds like a joke, that ties together climate change and misogyny. Here is the link:
