Republican math

Republican math,

example the fist: 2 - 1 = 3

examole the second: 3 = 4 + cake!

This special math is available only when Republucans are in charge of all branches of the Federal Government.

The first example of Alternate Math involves tax cuts — by collecting less tax, you collect more tax. This is so sensible, and it is very easy for a normal person to apply this basic principle to everyday life. Are you having problems earning enough money to pay your bills? Probably you are. Well Republicans have a solution for you: go to your employer and ask for a salary cut! Making less money will cause you to have more money. Is this hard to understand? You bet it is. A possible clue that the Republicans are trying to snooker the middle class with this kind of song and dance? The name of the guy who came up with this is actually a synonym for “laughter”...and the wealthy Republicans who get to pay less taxes are laughing all the way to the bank, where they will deposit your money in their bank accounts. That's right! By Republican tax alchemy, your lead is transformed into gold owned by the 1%.

But that's old news. The most recent incarnation of Republican'tMath involves spending. This is a new one in the Repulican’t Principia Mathematica. We learned this this weekend from Tom Price: When you need *more* of something, spend *less* money on it (nb: this does not work with aircraft carriers, border walls, or golf trips for President Thing). Also, by spending less, the thing you're purchasing will be higher quality! So try this One Simple Trick: when you go to the grocery store with the diminished paycheck you successfully negotiated in step 1. Go to the friendly proprietor and say to him (or her) “this bread in my basket? I would like more of it for what you are asking me to pay, and, incidentally, supply me with delicious cake."

so when they say “trickle down” you know that means less = more; and when they say “spending flexibility” you know that means worse = better.
