I think Obama's main problem in this race is his "spin deficit". I fail to understand why he and his spokespeople are not making the argument that a person who can raise enough money to outspend his opponent 2:1 in a state, especially when that money is raised in small increments from individuals, is the stronger candidate.
Americans respect money. Obama has money. He consistently raises more money than Clinton. He will continue to do this in the general. Why isn't he saying to the superdelegates:
"vote for the person who will be able to outspend mccain in every state" 2:1"? Why aren't Obama and his spokespeople making the point that the ability to raise and spend money is a real, significant, and proven measure of electibility? I'd be interested in other peoples ideas of how Obama can spin his strengths. I think that is really the only way he is over-matched in this contest with Clinton.
